Our Care Workers

Care Workers at Home Care Assistance North Coast are highly experienced, thoroughly trained and personally committed to the individuals and families they serve. We offer a robust roster of Care Workers with a diversity of experience, skills, personalities and credentials.

We expertly match the right Care Worker to each person’s unique needs and preferences. Our Care Workers are employees of Home Care Assistance North Coast. We take care of their employment insurance, taxes and workers’ compensation so you don’t have to. As a responsible organisation, we also bond and insure our employees and are happy to give you a copy of our certificates of insurance as proof of the various coverage plans that we provide for our Care Workers.

Many of our Care Workers have experience with other in home care companies or senior care facilities, but have found a “home” at Home Care Assistance North Coast, where they are treated with respect and encouraged to be an active contributing member of the team that is caring for your loved one.

Community Resource Team

Home Care Liaisons are connected to a wide range of care professionals in the communities we serve. They can be a valuable resource to your family and loved one, providing advice on local care professionals they may need. Whether it is coordinating with Social Workers, hospital staff, or Geriatric Care Managers, our Home Care Liaisons are there to make sure the ageing journey is a smooth one.

Community Resource Team

Home Care Liaisons are connected to a wide range of care professionals in the communities we serve. They can serve as a valuable resource to your family and loved one by advising them on local care professionals they may need. Whether it’s coordinating with social workers, hospital staff, or geriatric care managers, our Home Care Liaisons are there to make sure the ageing journey is a smooth one.

Local Community Service

Home Care Assistance North Coast care team members have a personal mission to improve the lives of older Australians. Many of us take this calling beyond our vocation and devote time and resources to various not-for-profit causes.

The whole team at Home Care Assist are amazing. I can't begin to tell you how much help Geoff Doherty was to me when I was trying to navigate the Aged Care process. The Coffs Harbour team led by... Rachael, who is a wonderful caring and helpful manager, is an absolute gem. My every need is taken into consideration and the staff employed to do the actual caring/cleaning are second to none. Nothing is too much trouble. I need Physio and Hydrotherapy services and Emily, who is also a absolute gem always pays the providers promptly and they are very grateful for that.
